The Mess Hall, like many of the Dining Cars on Snowpiercer utilizes Beverage Tokens and Meal Tickets as a form of currency which are exchanged for food or drink.
Interior[]
The interior is has the same design language of that of the rest of the third class cars. It contains multiple rows of booths to the port side and separated tables that share a long couch on the starboard side, one of which also serves as a chess board.
There is a small television in the corner used to broadcast passenger announcements and special events such as fight night.
There is also a wall mounted clock which is set to the trains time.

Season 1[]
- Layton was taken to the mess hall by Till and Osweiller, given tomato soup and grilled cheese and got asked to solve the murder case by Roche.[1]
- In the Mess Hall, Osweiller was telling Fuller and 3 Brakemen lies about the failed insurrection, when Layton and Sam Roche confronted him about trading Kronole to the Tail.[2]
- During Fight Night, the event was livestreamed from Night Car to 3rd Class Mess Hall, with a lot of thirdies watching.[2]
- After killing Nikki and Jackboot Mansfield, Erik hid in the 3rd Class Mess Hall and spoke to Winston, who was cleaning up the place.[3]
- Josie snuck out of the Tail and secretly met up with Astrid.[3]
