The Cruel Guard is a minor character on TNT's Snowpiercer. He is portrayed by Nikolai Witschl.

Nothing is known about the cruel guard other than he's a guard aboard Big Alice.

Season 3[]
In The Show Must Go On, the cruel guard remains outside of Compost, guarding Andre Layton and later Ruth Wardell.
In Into the White, Layton and Ruth lure the guard into a trap, pretending that Ruth wants more protein bars and then attacking him. Layton stabs the guard several times in the shoulder and chest before Ruth bashes him in the head with a shovel handle, killing him. Layton then takes the guard's keys and baton and frees himself and Ruth. The two lock the cruel guard's body in Compost as they leave.
