Jackboot Tyson is a recurring character on TNT's Snowpiercer. She is portrayed by Andrea Ware.
History[]
Tyson was working as a Jackboot since Snowpiercer's departure. She, Lieutenant Gardiner, and other Jackboots received Wilford's order to kill Melanie's geneticists.[1]

Season 1[]
In Prepare to Brace, when Andre Layton escaped from his cell to give train information to the tail by giving a map to Big John, but failed and was beaten bloody by several Jackboots, including Jackboot Tyson and Donaldson.
In Justice Never Boarded, she is the jackboot that oversees Murray, Santiago and Josie that are pulled uptrain to work in Third Class.
In Trouble Comes Sideways, Tyson and Jackboot Clifford escorted Melanie Cavill in order to stop the Thirdie strike. Clifford hits the Thirdie Yeller who shouted at Melanie.
In The Universe Is Indifferent, Tyson and Jackboot Clifford brings Terence to Melanie in Brakemen's Garrison.
In These Are His Revolutions, when the First Class Committee found out that Mr. Wilford was not on the train and Melanie Cavill was exposed by LJ Folger that she is indeed running the train. As Jackboot Kaffey and Jackboot Clifford captures Melanie, a few passengers doesn't believe it and tried to free Melanie. Lieutenant Gardiner, along with Jackboot Tyson, Kaffey and Clifford tries to control the situation. Later, Jackboot Tyson was given order from Commander Grey to lock Melanie up. Although at the Hospitality Room where Melanie was locked up, Tyson shows a bit sympathy, by allowing her to get a photo of Alexandra Cavill from the booth. Which allows Melanie to send a signal to Bennett, made him lockdown the Engine.
Season 2[]
In The Eternal Engineer, Tyson was sitting in 3rd Class Mess Hall, along with Jakes Carter, Jackboot Kaffey, Jackboot Clifford and Annie. Jakes Carter told the group that he saw Wilford's return. Later when Layton got taken to Big Alice, Roche got told by Tyson to report to Wilford on Big Alice.
Personality[]
Tyson at first supports First Class against Melanie, but still shows sympathy, an example being when letting her get a photo of Alex Cavill from her desk. She eventually joins the resistance, siding against Wilford's regime. After the Pirate Train's return, she is addressed as a Brakeman rather than a Jackboot, indicating that her role has changed. She is later killed by Joseph Wilford, along with two Brakemen, with a poisoned cigar offered to her during the celebration in A Beacon for Us All.
She originally sided with the Folgers and Commander Grey's army, locking up Melanie in the radio room. However, as time went on, she began to side with the resistance, and in of Season 3, was caught for taking a bath that the third class water master had let her take in return for service to the resistance. She is one of the Brakemen assigned to guard Wilford, but is killed with the rest when he offers them laced cigars during the New Eden celebration.

In The Tortoise and the Hare, taking place when the train is under Wilfords regime, she is seen to be friends with Pike as he gives her a bath token for helping the resistance.
